I DO NOT DREAD YOU

Where are you now, Beloved Fairy?
    There where dream becomes
        desire?

These three days now you've been absent from me.
I do not fear your kisses.
        Honestly.

I do not dread your lips touching mine oh so softly.
Nor will I die by the light of your powerful
        beauty.

I will never castigate, fear or blame
your honeyed voice for singing my
        name.

And though you are a threat to my heart,
you are also the heart of my life, my
        art.
