"Officer, it must be a prank." Liz said stepping up to him.
"Are you sure about this Miss? The caller sounded pretty serious." The officer answered unsure.
"Does the cafe looked robbed to you sir?" Max added on.
"Good point, well if everything is okay i guess i'll leave and report a prank, thanks kids bye." The officer said as he left the cafe.
Both Max and Liz stood there in silence taking in on what the officer just told them. The only thing in Liz's mind was Maria. Where is she, what happened to her and if she was okay.
As if reading her mind Max said "Don't worry Liz i'm sure she is okay."
"After I close the cafe i'm going to house to see if she's there." Liz said as she was pacing back and forth. "If she isn't there i'll make calls and If no one has seen her i'll.." Liz was disturbed when Max stepped in front of her to keep from pacing.
"Liz, calm down! We'll find her." Max said as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
"What if we don't?" Liz said in a concerened voice.
"Don't say that" Max said checking his watch. "Well I got to go now before Isabell thinks something has happened. I really would love to stay but I can't, I'll call you later tonight." Max said as he kissed softly on the cheeks. "Don't worry" he repeated.
"Bye, it'll be hard not to." Lix said as she gave a tiny little smile.
Than Max left through the door. When Liz was alone she went into the back room of the cafe to see if Maria might have left her coat or took it. Possibly her uniform is in her locker and she purposly left.
"she's okay" Liz thought to her self.
Liz's thought were interupted by the ring of the door opening. Liz quickly went to the counter to see who it was.
"Kyle, what are you doing here?" Liz asked with a confused look.
"Just seeing how your doing." Kyle said giving her a uncomfortable look.
"I'm doing fine, Kyle the cafe will be closed in 3 minuets so don't plan on staying long." Lix told him.
"Don't worry Liz, i won't make you cook anything, I'm not that hungry." Kyle explained to Liz.
"What do you want?" Liz asked quizinly. "I just came to see how your doing." Kyle said with a shrug.
"I told you I'm okay" Liz said with yet another annoyed tone.
Liz felt really uncomfortable with Kyle just sitting there staring at her, so she decided to do something about it.
"Kyle, umm...the cafe is closed, this is now for employies only, You have to leave." Liz said looking streight at him in the eye.
"I've still got a minute." Kyle said wiht a big grin.
"Minute to do what?" Liz asked as she wiped the counters off with a towel.
"Minute to just chat" Kyle said.
