Summer Months. Please Remember:

Keep your pet provided with plenty of fresh water, change water for outdoor pets several times a day
Keep your pet well groomed, and check for fleas, ticks, etc.
Be aware of keeping your pet away from fertilizer, and other lawn and car chemicals
Provide shelter from the sun
Don't walk your pet during peak sunlight hours- they get dehydrated more quickly, and the pavement burns the pads of their paws

Winter Months. Please Remember:

Don't leave pets outdoors during extreme weather
Be aware that pets can injure themselves falling on ice
Keep ice cleaned out of paws
Don't leave a pet inside a running car
Check for animals or pets taking shelter under your car
Anti-Freeze is in greater use during this season. Watch for spills. Animals love the taste, and will lap it up- it is deadly.
Keep outdoor pets well- fed and with fresh, clean water
