Basic Dog Biscuit: You need

Steps:
  1. Pour the hot liquid over the margarine
  2. Stir in the powdered milk and egg
  3. Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time, until finished, mixing well after each 1/2 cup
  4. Knead the mixture and add more flour if necessary, until the mixture is stiff
  5. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut out pieces with cookie cutter, knife, etc.
  6. Put pieces on a greased baking sheet
  7. Bake for 50 minutes at 325 degrees.

Salmon Treats for cats (or dogs): You need:

Steps:
  1. Drain the salmon
  2. Mix the ingredients, adding more flour if needed
  3. Roll the dough as thinly as possible
  4. Roll pieces of dough into tiny balls
  5. Bake for 1/2 hour at 375 degrees. Leave them in the oven for a couple of hours after you turn it off.

Rootin' Tootin' Wild West Corn Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees (F).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda and shortening.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs until foamy, then whisk in buttermilk, skim milk and honey.
  4. Pour wet mixture into the cornmeal mixture and fold in corn and rosemary. Mix well.
  5. Spoon half full into greased muffin tin and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and firm.

  5. Pour into a 8x8-inch greased baking pan and sprinkle the top with coconut and walnuts.

  2. Roll mixture into balls and fry in a small amount of oil on high heat until the outsides are browned, but not cooked through.
  3. Turn heat down to low and continue cooking for 20-25 minutes. Cool before serving. Store in a sealed container in the refirigerator.
