Becoming a Vegetarian or Vegan

There are many personal reasons to eliminate meat and meat products from one's diet, not the least of which is the abuse of the animal's bred for our consumption.

A meat-free diet can be healthy, but you need to let your doctor know about your choice. He or she may suggest certain vitamins, or meat-alternatives to add into your diet.

Also, if you are going to eat meat, keep in mind the option of buying kosher meats. Part of the kosher process is killing the animal in the way which will cause the least pain and suffering.
