My story begins in December 1977. I am what I like to call a "product of some bad 70's acid". I popped out in Doylestown Hospital on September 19, 1978. That's right, I turned 28 this year. As a baby I lived with my parents in a small apartment in a small town with a big name, Trumbauersville, PA. Things were good, and then my sister Christine was born in 1980. We needed more room so we moved in with my grandparents. I don't know which ones first, I just remember know we lived with both sets. Don't worry, I'll get to the good part in due time. I started school in 1980something and made some friends. I had another sister born in 1983, her name was (and still is) Becca. I changed schools when I was in 2nd grade but first I had a brother, Matt. He was born in 1985. Summers came and went and were full of happy frolics. In 1986 I went to Disney World in Florida. A year later I went back. Blah blah blah....School ends, school starts.... We got a new house pretty close to being in the bumblefucks. Every time it would snow or there was a thunderstorm, we would lose power and heat. And then there was the time we had the escaped murderer hiding under the bridge 1/4 mile from our house. That was fun. That and the rats we rented from. So one day we were evicted by the rats, so we moved to our present location in beautiful (lying through my teeth) downtown Quakertown. The 90's came around while here. In 1990 I went on my first cross country expedition with my uncle and some friends. We drove from his place outside Washington, DC to Seattle and then flew to Anchorage, Alaska. Then we flew back to Seattle and did the whole thing in reverse. 1991 sent me to North Carolina for a visit with some relatives. But I never learned the rebel yell. 1992 was an interesting year. In June, I graduated from my school, St. Isisdore's. About a week later I was in the hospital with appendicitis. It almost killed me, so if you ever have a sharp pain here, see a doctor right away. A few days later I could walk upright. A few weeks later I was in Carolina again. A few weeks after that I was on the road again with my uncle and friends, this time driving cross country to the Grand Canyon, passing through Texas on the way home. I started high school 2 weeks after I came home. Met some new people, had some fun, couldn't wait to get out. During the early 90's my sister Becca started going to baseball games at the stadium, which is practically in my back yard. In 1994 somehow she got me hooked too. After sitting on the sidelines for 3 years I was ready for the big time, joining my team during the 1997 season. My first at bat came on May 18, 1997. I had been on this field hundreds of times, but never as a player. In the 7th inning against Jack Kalb of South Whitehall, I got my first at bat ever. And guess what! I struck out! My first start came May 30 at Stahley's. I played right field for the first inning until someone better showed up. Let's back track a little. I graduated high school in 1996. 96 ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! if any of you were wondering. Then in November '98 I got this computer. That opened the door for this website. On New Years Eve I met this real sweetheart Heather. We became good friends. Fast forward to July 10, 1999. Me and my good friend Heather finally stopped denying that we love each other. I went to visit Heather August 22-29 of 1999. I had a very pleasant experience. I moved in with Heather in our very own apartment on December 4, 1999 and married her in Bullhead City, Ariz. on December 12. I got a job at Key Bank, then a few months later we moved to a smaller apartment just a few blocks from that very same Key Bank. In June of 2000 I had my first trip to Pennsylvania. I brought Heather along so the folks here could meet her. After a few knock-down drag-out fights, my mom claimed victory over who got to plan our wedding reception. I mingled with more family than I ever cared to meet, but by the end Heather knew why I left PA. After that fiasco, life resumed in Washington. Then in August, something incredible happened. A little person began growing inside Heather, and we decided that since I was probably the father that we would raise this little person. Of course, that meant getting into a bigger place, preferably a house. No dice. So we moved back to Pennsylvania and got a repo. It still needs work, but who doesn't. In April, just 3 minutes before Easter our magical little daughter Alicia was born. In mid-2002 I decided to write a book about the War of 1812, due in bookstores by 2012. I also began my career as a sportswriter in a volunteer position for the Tri-County League website. In 2003 I wrote one article before signing on as a scorekeeper/pinch hitter for South Whitehall. I went 0-2 with a pair of K's. My shining moment came late in the season at Bushkill. In the top of the seventh, with two out and the bases loaded, trailing 17-1 I was called on to pinch hit for Steve Smull (career .362 hitter) and struck out to end the game. In November of 2003 we moved north from Quakertown to Neffs (with a Slatington address). Heather went to Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York and Alicia started school while there. I switched to a new job in Bethlehem as a carpenter's apprentice for a guy named Joseph. His son Jesus was a little pain the you know what. Just kidding, it was a mailroom job at an insurance company. Next up was the move to Washington (see photo album) and the new job at Camp Lakeview. I saw eagles almost everyday. Not the Philadelphia Eagles :( but eagles none the less. In October 2008 we left the camp for the quieter seclusioner of a cabin Ashford, right by the entrance to Mount Rainier NP. I no longer see Eagles every day. Now I get deer and elk. Now I do medical billing at Medical Billing. We traded the cabin for an apartment in Eatonville. That's my life to the moment. Any questions? Visit my guest book and ask me there!
