What This Is:
This is the contest that will decide the who is in fact the best CastleVania II player in the world.
Rules Of Contest:
If you do not already have them, you must download NESticle and the CV2 ROM from my emulation page. With the CastleVania II ROM running, go to the CPU menu and click on NES Movie. What you have to do is record an NES Movie of you beating the game. I would like movies to be sent in six seperate e-mails so I can get all the movies fast and easy. So this means that you will have to record the game in seperate sections.
Recording The Seperate Sections:
Please record an NES Movie for each of these sections of the game if you wish to participate:
1.Jova to Berkeley Mansion. Stop recording when the mansion is complete.
2.Outside of Berkeley Mansion to Rover Mansion. Stop recording when Rover Mansion is complete.
3.Outside of Rover Mansion to Bram's Mansion. Stop recording when Bram's Mansion is complete.
4.Outside of Bram's Mansion to Bodley Mansion. Stop recording when Bodley Mansion is complete.
5.Outside of Bodley Mansion to Laruba Mansion. Stop recording when Laruba Mansion is complete.
6.Outside Laruba Mansion to CastleVania. Stop recording when ending has finished running.
Some More About Recording:
Please play the game as you normally would, only recording your game this time. Once you have sent your entries to me, I will grade them (on a scale explained in the next section) and post results on a results page. Please return to my site frequently to find out where you and others stand!
How Your Entries Will Be Graded:
I will view your games and grade them accordingly. The better the gameplay you have, the higher score you will get. Thus making the one with best gameplay The CastleVania II World Champion.
1.You must finish with the best ending(ending with red skies)! Otherwise don't even bother sending your entries to me. I can't be wasting my time watching long carried out games where the player has no clue what to do and takes many hours to finish and gets the worst ending.100 POINTS AWARDED FOR THIS CATEGORY
2.You will be awarded 20 points for every item you finish with. This means the more items you obtain in the game, the more points you will rack up.
3.You will be awarded 50 points for each SUPERTIP you can succesfully demonstrate. The list can be found in my SuperTips frame in the frames section of my webpage.
4.You will be awarded 50 points for each experience level you gain through the course of the game.
A Message To People Who Are Planning on Cheating: Please don't try to cheat here. This includes using passwords, GameGenie Codes, cutting off scenes of your gameplay from the NES Movies at some point during the game. Please don't try any of these people. I WILL KNOW if you cheated at some point and if cheating is detected, the entry will immediately be discarded.
