Sorceror, etc.
These are males. They use magic. Some use staffs, some use magic words and wave their hands a lot, some use magic potions. Most chant.

Sorceresses, etc.

The same as above but female.

Warrior

They use weapons, usually very strong, big guys.

Barbarian

They tend to dress in skins and leather and have big broadswords. They tend to be from the far north, dislike magic, and are sexist. They dislike cowards, also.

Heroes and Heroines

They save people for a living. For example, they'll save someone from a sacrifice.

Guard (city, palace)

If they are new to the job and in a city r palace that is corrupt, they start out loyal, then turn corrupt. If it's a loyal, great country, etc, then the entire guard is loyal except for the few guards who work for the evil guys.

Royalty/Nobles

Prince, Princess, King, Queen, etc., lost heirs also fit into this category. They are generally very arrogant and tend to like and get things their way.

Troll

Trolls are ugly, malicious creatures and the enemies of mankind. They are much bigger and stronger than humans, and leave their caves only after dark to hunt. If they are exposed to sunlight they will instantly turn to stone. Trolls are very fond of human flesh. In later myths they are roughly the size of humans or elves, and thought to be the owners of buried treasures. They are sometimes, although very rarely, portrayed as friendly, less ugly creatures.

Goblin

Goblins are a different, more grotesque variety of gnomes. They are known to be playful, but at other times they are evil and their tricks could seriously harm people. A goblin smile curdles the blood and a laugh sours the milk and causes fruit to fall from the trees. They pester humans in a number of ways, such as hiding small objects, tipping over pails of milk and altering signposts. They have no homes and usually live in mossy clefts in rocks and roots of ancient trees, although they never stay very long in the same place.

Orc Thanks Meggie!!

Somebody get this guy a facelift!! Orcs are a species of aggressive mammalian carnivores that band together in tribes and survive by hunting and raiding.

Kobold Thanks Meggie!!

RAT!!! Eh, no... Kobold, close though! These little hellions are of the most annoying sort.. at about one to two feet tall, you better be wearing those kneepads your mother told you to before you could go biking. But they're soooo cute! you say? Well, if an erect rat is cute.. yeah sure, more power to you. Usually found in packs.. it's best to be nice to the little buggers, they're not above using poison tipped darts for spears...

Priest, Priestess, Druid

A priest or priestess is very religious and good, or else is evil and corrupt. It usually depends on the religion and where their church is.
Druids are more in tune with the earth and are a mix of good and bad, more good than bad.

Bandit, Thief

They are usually bad guys. They rob people for a living. Bandits usually attack people on the road and sometimes kill.

Bard, Minstrel

Bards are travelling musicians and storytellers. They have a special kind of magic in their music.

Beggar

Beggars tend to be very old, gnarly men or women or young children. They are generally filthy and will continuously bother you for money or food. They usually have information to help you if you pay them or feed them.

Mercenary

Mercs get paid to kill, regain stolen/lost treasure, protect merchant caravans, etc. They are very good warriors and have connections in both the noble families and the underside of cities.

Gypsies Thanks Meggie!!!

Rom, Gangrel, Ravnos, Serf.. the one and all - Gypsy. These travelers and mystics of the woods have earned both the fear and solemn respect of the day-to-day city-goers. A Rom can either be outrageous, or reserved.. it all depends on their tribe. While some gypsy's choose to reside within a single city or wood, others fear the wrath of Suyolak and travel constantly as nomads. Known for their ability to tell the fortune (how much of it is true, though....) they are often visited by some of the most prestigious citizens of the city, and revel in the chance for their talent to be known.
Gypsy Beliefs:
Suyolak
Suyolak is a gypsy wizard who has knowledge of every cure. He is chained to a boulder and if he were to break free he would destroy the entire world.
Devel
The Gypsy supreme deity. He is also called Del.
Beng
The Gypsy name for the devil. The Bengs often battle the gypsy's, but are always defeated. They live in the woods where they conduct their evil businesses at night.
Mulo
In Gypsy belief, a vampiric creature, a spirit of the dead, who lives in the mountains. The body of a Mulo lacks bones and the middle finger of each hand is missing.
Butyakengo
A Gypsy protective spirit who lives in a person's body and which forms a part of a deceased ancestor. It is transferred from the father and mother to the eldest son or daughter.
Urmen
In gypsy belief, they are a group of three female spirits of fate who decide the destiny of humans. Two of them are good spirits, while the third is continuously trying to harm people. Their queen is Matuya who employs gigantic, terrible birds called the Charana.

Form-Changers and Shape-Shifters

they either have many forms or very few. It depends on their strength. They are known for getting into tight spots or getting out of bad situations.

Scholar

Scholars have knowledge about pretty much everything. They tend to be helpful if you don't know something and are found in rooms with lots of books. They also carry some books with them if they travel.

Bladesinger Thanks Meggie!!

Nasty little devils. Well, if you're on their badside.. that is. Bladesingers are those lovely little people who have decided to spend years learning how to cast spells and "sing" a blade at the same time without being detered. Nifty, eh?

Vampires Thanks Meggie!!

The carnal stalkers of the night... or so it would seem to the untrained eye. By tale and legend these undead beings have struck fear in the hearts of children and adults alike for untold centuries. No matter who or what you are, chances are you've heard of these dread beings. Though, that's not always the tale. Vampires more akin towards the way of good have been known to exist, feeding from only animal blood, or vitae. Stereotypes run wild for these Kindred, but in all truth, the majority are false.

Can you kill a vampire by plunging a stake through their heart?
No, that will only paralyze them.

Garlic freaks 'em out, right?
No, not exactly...

I know! They all have protruding fangs! Right?
Only the hideously deformed.

You see, vampires are just as diverse as their living counterparts, in every way.... Almost.

Dreamwalkers, Dreamweavers

Dreamweavers can create dreams and mold them to their liking. Dreamwalkers can enter dreams to gain information or to speak to someone hundreds of miles away.

Shadow Weavers

Those who can weave the shadows to their liking. Not necessarily evil, tend to be good. An extremely good shadow weaver, is one who can "speak" to the shadows.

Assassins

The men or women who fit into tight corners and stick to the shadows. They kill for money.

Gnome Thanks Meggie!!

A race of small, misshapen, dwarf-like creatures that dwell in the earth. Gnomes live under the earth, where they guard treasures. According to Paracelcus, they move as easily through the earth as humans walk upon the ground. They cannot stand the light of the sun. Some sources claim they spend the hours during daylight as a toad. They are in some way related to goblins and dwarfs.
