About me

Hey everyone! Hope I didn't scare you with my nasty picture! Ok, so those of you that were bothered to look in this section, here is my life story like summed up into a paragraph and a half!

Ok, well my full name is Rosemary Helen Mountague - I prefer to be called Rose, or Rosey, I am 14 and I live in Watford (which is very near London) in England. I have only lived in England for about 4 or 5 years as I grew up in Hong Kong due to my Dad's job. Anyway, so I am a HUUUGE Hanson fan! I first saw a pic of the Hanson brothers at the 95.8 Capital FM extravaganza in May 1997. I was handed this like magazine and Hanson were on the cover. I'd been hearing MMMBop the whole time on the radio before then and LOVED it so much, and now here I am a completely insane * hanson freak * Completely still loving the music!!

My bedroom used to be a Hanson shrine (see above in the picture) the walls and ceiling were all covered in Hanson posters. I decided to take them all down after having a year with them on the wall, the Blu-tack was starting to damage them, so I put them all in folders. My mum has framed some of my special hanson posters that are on the walls (which are purple) I now have a huge cupboard dedicated to Hanson, where I keep all my stuff like my posters (I have over 1000), articles, books, videos, cassette tapes, postcards, photos, flags, banners e.t.c, there is tons of Hanson stuff in there. It's amazing at how much stuff I have collected over the past year or so that Hanson have been around.

I'd say that the best moment on 1998 was going to the Hanson concert at Wembley in London on June 16th 1998. Every time I pass Wembley on the tube (London Underground) I shiver. It was the BEST day of my life! Even though I wasn't in front row or whatever, it was still really special for me! Just little moments bring me right back to the moment of me standing there going crazy! Just the whole concert itself was great. I'll never forget how loud it was!

Like many other Hanson fans, I do have that dream to some day meet Hanson, I'd love to, it would be like a dream come true. To me Hanson are like my life, they have influenced me in every way. I think that they are truly talented guys, and no matter what any of their critics say, you can't hide the fact that they are really talented. It's amazing to see that they are still out there playing their music and for filling their dream, and I think that they set a great example for other young people out there, and I hope they will be around forever, just playing the music.

More about me, well I go to Rickmansworth School in Croxley Green. I am in year 10. For my GSCE I have to study Math's, English, Science, Computer Studies, Art, Geography and French. I play a lot of sport: I like playing Football (Soccer to Americans!) Netball, basketball, Rounders, Tennis, Swimming, Dance and loads more. I am in the Netball & Rounders team at school.

The things I like doing most are probably: Going shopping (for hanson stuff in London) and going clothes shopping with friends, going out to the cinema, partying, getting completely pissed, talking on the phone, writing e-mails, dreaming.. (he he he..)

Well I know that was probably really boring, but never mind! If you would like to be my e-pal, please e-mail me! My address is: rosemary.m@ukonline.co.uk
