Prof. R. B. Singh
  Prof. R. B. Singh, renowned Scientist, who has been steering international agrucultural research. He gave up his lucrative job in the United Nation's Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO)and took up the reins of the premier agricultural research institute of the country, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).
Prof. Singh, with a brilliant academic record, took his doctrate degree from the Universsity of North California, USA. He was Professor and Head of Department of Genetics and Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Banaras Hindu University before he joined the UN.
  Prof. Singh has over 200 research papers to his credit and has guided 40 Ph.D. thesis. He was elected the 'Scientist of the Year' by the American Association of Agricultural Scientists of Indian Origin. He has helped over 25 countries in their developmental efforts.
