I wouldn't go so far as to say my award is a famous
web award, but it's certainly well-known among some of
the Irish dance pages out there! Because of that - and
because I miss it! **sniff** - the Crystal Shamrock Award
is making its return!
Those of you who aren't familiar with the CSA might
be asking yourself a few questions:
What kinds of sites can win the award?
My award is aimed at Celtic sites of any kind. Mostly
I give it out to Irish dance sites but I've given it
out to plain Celtic or Irish sites before. Just because your
site has nothing to do with Irish dance doesn't mean you can't
win my award!
So how can I win the CSA?
Basically, I have to be told about or just plain stumble
onto your site by accident. I had people email me before
with nominations for sites but that just didn't work. I
get so much email that I can't keep up with it all - and
some of the noms got lost in the shuffle :(
Can I still nominate my site for the award?
Of course! :) Now you can sign the guestbook of this page (whenever I decide to GET one **s**) and
include your or a website you want to nominate's URL.
You don't necessarily HAVE to mention in your GB message that
you're nominating the site, but it'll get my attention!
In this GB I'll visit every single site just to see if
I like any of them. I also check the URLs in the Oscail
GB and get a lot of candidates from there!
What do you look for in a site?
