June 22, 2000 ~ Please take the time to ask yourself this question: Are you a plagiarist? (one who steals the work of others and pawns it off as your own?) If you are, watch out because I am coming to KILL you! No more to say on that subject. How do you all like my new Splash page with the poem? I came up with it last night after I'd had my yummy dinner of stew. Actually here's a funny story about how I wrote that poem. I thought of the opening two lines while I was warming it up in the mircowave and, throughout Drew Carey and Travels in Europe and over that delightful stew, I finished the rest of it! Cool huh? Who was it that was beating me up for not updating these things as much as I said I would? Manny? No I think it was someone else. HAPPY NOW? **laughs** Screw you Hotmail!!! It won't download my POP Mail. What will I do without my email? **scream** Eeek! I have to end this one now because I haven't eaten lunch and I'm really hungry and some Mormon missionaries are comin' over today. They're so cool, if you ever get called by some don't hesitate to ask them over!!!

April 12, 2000 ~Fencing is the best sport in the entire Universe! I've been to two classes to date, and my best friend Christina (aka Kronos) and I (aka Methos) are having a blast! Better explain those names before I go on. We shout those at each other while we fence, it's kinda fun confusing people! Ever seen the show Highlander? Seen the Four Horsemen episodes? Well, Methos is the oldest immortal (I'm the oldest by a few months so that's me) and Kronos was the leader of the four horsemen (also immortal; Christina loves Valentine Pelka, the actor who plays him, so she gets to be Kronos). It's such a cultured sport. You take turns attacking! Well that's kinda oversimplifying but that's a little part of it. The masks get all sweaty by the time you're done. Really gross. You wear these funny chest guards under your jacket - they're clear plastic and Kronos says "think Xena: Warrior Princess" everytime we get them out, and she's so right! At least they keep you from being sore in a certain area (ladies!) My right leg has ached for two weeks straight now. Quite interesting! We were learning all four parries last night (4, 6, 7, and 2). Little Ciara was a little slow in the uptake......instructor probably thinks I'm learning impaired or something.........took us a loooong time to suit up.....possibly too many Capaccinos on Friday nights.......better give Steve a call and get him to hose me down......HAHAHA what a thought! I have to make him come read this now. He'll think I'm crazier than he already does! BTW, for those of you who didn't know, Steve is my maniacal boyfriend who keeps crashing his car! He has numbers up on even ME, miss I-had-two-accidents-in-two-weeks! His front bumper is stuffed with styrafoam!!! (he didn't do that, it came that way.) He ran into his dad's car (in the driveway!) and bent up the hood and broke part of the bumper off. He pulled into my driveway BACKWARDS last Friday just to keep my parents from seeing! **lmao** I told you he was crazy! He's a sweetie though, and an absolute trip! You're asking for trouble with that boy. I'm tired tonight, so I'll just leave you with a parting thought:

March 29, 2000 ~So, how many of you have a 2000 penny that you got for actual change (and not out of a friggin' Cheerios box)? I DO!!!! Got it in New York City when I was there March 22-26. I went with my choir and we got last place in everything at competition (mixed choir, women's choir, and show choir) but everything else was a blast! We went to a restaurant where they joust while you're eating called Medieval Times (if you've ever heard of it or been there). There was a guy who looks like Adrian Paul off the show Highlander who was sooooo hot in his velvet robes and pretty brown hair. **sigh** None of my friends agree but screw them! Lord Marshall is my man back there in New Jersey! Yeah buddy! I was supposed to be in my school's musical but they kicked me out for missing two practices. Crummy huh? I'm over it now. I mean it's their loss, so why should I be upset? Any of you good people failing Algebra out there? I feel for ya because I AM! I've never gotten an F before in high school and here it is. I'm determined to bring it to a C by the end of the quarter if I can! I need it since I know I'll be taking the stupid final! I hate exams. They're a waste of time. Have any of you seen the movie DUNE? OK is Duncan Idaho anyone else's favorite character besides mine? I always seem to like the guys who aren't there very much and get killed, don't know why. Go figure. To continue my thought, have any of you seen the movie Romero? It's about the El Salvadoran bishop whose friend (who is also a priest) is killed by terrorists and how he leads the people to defend themselves through their faith. BACK TO DUNCAN IDAHO. Think really hard - remember the guy who plays him? WELL, watch the movie Romero and check out the adorable Father Grande closely. Figure it out? It's Duncan Idaho with blonde, spiky hair and an El Salvador accent! The actor is Richard Jordan. Spiff how I kinda find this stuff out, huh? It just makes your life all worthwhile! Another tidbit: READ "DON QUIXOTE" BY MIGUEL DE CERVANTES Y SAAVEDRA (aka Cervantes). I'm on page 100 of 1050 and lemme tell ya, it's a really good book! You'll be laughing a lot! Hope all you people are having fun dancing.......:) I can't wait to dance again! My feet are itching to do some!

January 21, 2000 ~Well, it's official: I'm quitting Irish dance. I'm so sick of our school notteaching us anything and making everything such a pain in the arse (I'd liketo've used another word but I won't for my readers' sakes). I am determinedto keep dancing at home with videos, etc whilst I pursue other forms of amusementlike fencing! That's my new thing I'm doing. I plan on joining the fencing clubat the college I'm going to so I figure why not start now? Ya know? :) Don't flipon me here, I'm still going to keep up Oscail an Doras! Of course! I love this pageand I'm still an Irish dancer, just not in a class.

January 13, 2000 ~Let's have a little chat about how stupid I am. We're having exams at my schoolright now. First day was language and religion, second day (today) was math and history,last day is English and science. So stupid me thought last night "oh crud I haveto study for English and History tonight". WELL today was the math exam and I leftall those books at home so I couldn't study once I found out I was completely off!Needless to say, I forgot how to do a bunch of stuff! Stupid stuff. Have anyof you gals out there ever thought about what it would be like to be a guy?Doesn't it make you sick? I mean come on they're so gross! 9 out of 10 guyshave no manners, are ugly as some very unpleasant things, are really annoying,immature, boring. . . . Need I go on? I don't know why but I REALLY preferbeing a girl. Maturing faster is a definite plus huh ladies? ;) Aw come onany guys who might be reading this I'm just kidding I have nothing against you!Actually I think very highly of many of you....so be nice to girls! January 12, 2000 ~Hiya!! Been a long time since I've had time to ramble. Things have been roughand tough around here lately. Won't go into details, basically my mom's beenin the hospital a couple of weeks, nearly died, but she's pulling through okaynow! I'm very glad, it's quite a relief! Guess what I bought today! Combatboots! They are SO cool! They zip on the outside, lace up the front, and comeup to mid-calf! I want to wear them to school but we're not allowed! **cry**The toe part is REALLY wide! It's huge! But they're in the current style and evenif they weren't they're awesome! I also bought this blood red silky shirt with3/4 sleeves and a pretty silver thorn design with a rose (the thorns arearound the edges of the sleeves too!) My bud Christina and I are going mall-hoppingagain Friday! That's our tradition now that I have my license and stuff. MY CAR IS BRIGHT CANARY YELLOW! Oh yeah baby! I need to take picturesand scan them! You'd laugh but you'd love it! I stick out a lot......very spiffy!I have two HUGE midterm exams tomorrow and I haven't studied at ALL! Badhuh? I don't care! If I fail first semester, screw them! Crud. I can alwaysredeem myself later! I hope. Must run! Got to get into bed! December 15, 1999 ~Well dance on Monday was interesting! We're still not doing hardshoe (partof our "punishment") but I got to dance! Hooray! Didn't do very good since I haven'tbeen dancing in a while but I'll get back into my groove soon! I quit learningthe new slip jig (of my own accord! because I've missed so many classes)and have reverted to my second slip jig from last year which is reallllllypretty! Now if only I could make it LOOK pretty! I make it look hard! I want tosend out a big THANK YOU to Brianne who left a very sweet message on my guestbook.You're my buddy! Anyway that is my Christmas present to you Brianne darling because you're just too nice to me! :) I was thinking about the Oireachtas Mondaynight and how hard I'm going to have to work if I actually want to go. It'skinda tough when you realize that. But you know what? I'm determined that I'mreally going to try this year. I may be sore and have a certain appendage ofmy body fall out from under me a lot (stupid feet) BUT I'm going to keep trying!I got really frustrated at class because I couldn't get the steps to the advancedslip jig right. Why the heck can't I learn things that fast and do them as goodas the rest of the people? Why do my clicks only go about a foot high whenmy friends' go way up to their noses? I wish itwould start sleeting again! I don't want to sing tonight! We wear little balletleotard top+skirts and a jacket over that. VERY COLD when it's less than 50 degrees outlemme tell ya! It's like walking around outside naked! (not like I know whatthat's like from first-hand experience or anything!) That was the analogy thatwe came up with anyway! Here's what I have to say about singing in choir(as far as Christmas songs go): I don't hear what you hear, I don't want to jingleyour bells, and I don't hear any blasted angels singing on a supposedly "holy"night!
