Standing in Line for the Ladies' Room
It was a sultry summer night, And on the baseball field they played. The Cardinals and the Cubbies, In the stadium, war made. Another battle wages on Behind the umpire's view. We're racing for the open stall To do what women do. Ear to ear, Nose to nose, The race is on. The tension grows. Our feet pound On bathroom floor. I want that stall; She wants it more. Bladder brimming... I don't care. I see the Men's room Empty, bare. I storm the room. I'll take no more! But on each stall, There was no door! And so I give This ode to thee: I envy those Who stand to pee.
