ARGH!!!!
Let me give you the play-by-play:
I have four classes in college, ALL of which have projects.
I participate in a MMORPG, namely Final Fantasy, and I have to play a few hours per day to keep up with my online buddies.
I try to keep an online comic going.
I try to keep a constant stream of fan fiction for Star Fox coming.
Needless to say, SOMETHING had to break down, and it's my drawing and writing which is taking the fall.
I hate it, folks, but that's the way it's gotta be until I have a job, which will be sometime after February. In the mean time I'm frantically treading water and juggling at the same time.

Yay! I hard boiled an egg!
So, amongst my crazy schedule, role playing, and trying to continue working on Grenn and Asia, I am continuing to play Final Fantasy XI. You've already heard all about this, but now I'm a level two cook! The joy!! I can hard boil eggs and make gruel!
On the other hand, I can't fish worth anything. Break my pole or loose my lure every other time.

I don't know why, but I have been having a lot of problems drawing lately. What seems ok when I ink it doesn't look so good when I go to scan it. Proportion is driving me crazy. I know what I want to draw, but it just doesn't come out right. Dammit! Hopefully this is a passing problem.

As those who read Musings know, I am now a FFXI addict. I am a Myskra. A catgirl, real ironic right? And I'm loving it.
Myskra is basically a port of Asia, if a lot more upbeat and a bit more of a psycho killer ("Look! Turtle Guy! Let's kill it!"). The game is a blast in general though, once you get used to the controls. It requires a lot of mousing, even with keyboard shortcuts. Some of the creatures are amusing as well, mad sheep make for great XP.
Yes, Grenn and Asia will continue. I still work, and I can't do a MMORPG while working. But, since I don't work Monday, my update day will be be shifting again. Sorry everyone. I'll probably just make it Tuesday...

Well, this term is starting to wind up, and frankly I couldn't be happier about it. Unfortunately I have less and less time to draw, so I'm sorry if my updates seem to run continuously late (at least they get done, even if they are a day late).
Ah, in the middle of another storyline. Poll, packmates: Should Grenn, a canine at heart, date a human? I've yet to get to get an answer on that from my mate, who owns the character. I'd like some other opinions on it, but either way, Andrea is going to stick around for a while.

Comments on America's Army Online. I'm used to being able to respawn. This game doesn't let you do that. If you're looking for a game you run around and frag everyone in, this is not it. Three shots can kill you, one if it's aimed well enough. It's annoying as hell. It took me twenty tries plus to get through the live air jump. *growl* It is different, and very well done, though.

Homework sucks.
Does anyone have any idea what to do about a teacher that deserves nothing less then to be thrown off the roof? I mean, really, my Project Management teacher has made the phrase 'scum of the earth' drag to a new low. *growl*

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with comics from now on, but then again the distractions are building up. I just got a hack of Zero Hour for Generals, and the fun has like tripled for that game. I only play as the GLA, so I got to laugh my butt off at the fact that there is now an upgrade to give shoes to your workers. Gotta love it. I have HomeWorld2 as well, though that game can make your head spin, and it's not as much fun because the router is keeping us from going online.

Ah yes, 'Loving an Alligator.' We aren't discussing the Mokole or anything, it's the misinterpretation of "Love in an Elevator." You'll see when we get to it. And frithbee had to come up again right? W00t.

The problem.
You may have noticed that I am stuck doing only one comic per week now. This is mostly due to the fact that I only get that much time to draw, or if I do draw more I keep them in holding until the next week. Why? Because homework sucks. I'm in my next-to-last term, and it's beating on me royal. My classes are such bull this term. I'm joining a Vampire LARP game too, so there goes some more time out the window.

One up: Things are generally going better for me, including being able to write decently. Yay. *happy dance*

Is this a milestone?
Well well, the finish of Story Four. Yahoo. *dance* Which means we charge cheerfully toward story five, with some big changes coming toward our crazy duo.

From sleeping in a truck to highrise, movin' on up. Ring's established herself as DeepThroat, and Shamira gets to figure out how to deal with a bunch of yuppiemobiles. Rah.

You know, I have to say there is one downside to this whole thing. The only way I know how people have been here is the counter. I don't get fanmail/art, so I'm left guessing. Aw well. Such is life.

Reference Sheets and other annoyances
At the suggestion of my mate Will (the creator/owner of Grenn), I am creating reference sheets for each of my characters. This is due to my lack of continuity lately with characters (blarg).
Also on the schedule, the possibility of moving to a new hosting with a dot.com name. Anything is possible, since paying for angelfire isn't necessarily worth it, depending how you look at it.

Being sick sucks, especially the little annoying colds that stick like glue.

*screams violently*
Due to money issues, I have now stopped subscribing to Angelfire Plus. This means I have lost not only five meg of memory, but a crapload of bandwidth I was using for this comic. And until I get my financial situation worked out, I will not be able to resubscribe.
Now the REALLY sucky part of this is that I was already cresting my paid-for memory limit, so I had to delete the entire gallery file for my webpage to pull this off. The gallery is offline. Grenn and Asia survives but without the bandwidth it seems to need. *sigh*

Also troubling is my lack of time for drawing. I seem to be becoming one of those one-comic-a-week updaters I hate so much (if I ever become like Sabrina Online, I'm just cutting it off, because I'm not good enough for it to be worth it). School, work, writing, and drawing just is too much too juggle, and I'm trying to get back into one of my very length fanfiction series. Lots of straw on the camel's back.

Anyone else have a lot of problems with student financial aid?

Schedules and other names for hell.

So, as you might have noticed, my update schedule has become somewhat lax lately. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm carrying about 18 credit hours this term (five different classes), and I'm at school nine or ten hours a day, not helped by the fact that I work there. That said, let me explain what's going on.

I used to update on Saturdays because I worked 9-5 at the school that day, a lazy shift that I could get a lot of work done on. However, this has changed. I now only work weeknights, so my ability to use the scanner on Saturday has diminished (and after four hours of project management class, I'm sure you wouldn't want to stick around afterward). So now, I will be trying to update every Monday night, two to three comics regularly, more if I feel creative or don't have much to do. Also, the next storyline will be a lot more silly and fun, so don't get too down or confused about all this: I just needed to introduce a key character.

That said, any character sheet I post you're allowed to use for your own gaming as an NPC, as long as I get credit for creation. Ring makes a great DemiGod of Weaver (I call her the Patron of Gaian Technology, myself), or just some mysterious silhouette to feed newbie characters money, information, and missions. Asia is a great distraction (go BOOM! YAY!) too, just make sure to get her right.
