Sasami is the Royal Princess of Jurai, and little sister to Ayeka. She is the little cutey in the bunch. Fast and free and a great cook too. In the first OVA Series she has an accident and in order to save her life Tsunami the greatest of the royal trees, asimulates with Sasami. So Tsunami and Sasami are now one and the same. She also has a hidden crush on Tenchi.

Tenchi is the star of the show. He is a high school student and Prince of Jurai. Son of Achika and Nobuyuki and grandson to Katsuhito ( Yoshou ). Tenchi is a magnet for women. He is a all around nice guy who just can't make up his mind about who he really loves. Tenchi has unimagineable power that he has yet to fully discover.

"Little" Washu is the greatest to pat herself on the back and even more loves genius in the galaxy. Her inventions may be intended for fun but always end up causing trouble. She loves science. She also has a little thing for Tenchi.

Yoshou is the Crown Prince of Jurai. Yosho was supposed to inherit the thrown from his father the reining king. But because he went aginst his father's wishes and married an earth woman and settled on earth the crown would go to another, namely Ayeka's husband. Yoshou is Achika's father and Tenchi's grandfather. Although he looks aging it is only a disguise, using his powers he has masked himself, he accually still looks young.
