A B O U T   T H I S   S I T E

Requiem for a Souless Band is now 10 years strong. Throughout this period of time, changes to these pages have not been all that significant. This page has been (and will always be) focused around information, not hype, news or gossip. I used to receive plenty of e-mail in support of this site, but I have so much spam, that I rarely check my e-mail anymore. Once in a while I got a "fuck you!" from some ignorant fool, but that's to be expected.

I do not wish to share much about myself except the fact that Type O Negative's music was once a big part of my life. It's not that the lyrical content paralleled my existence, but I just felt some kind of a bond to their sound and to their collective personality. I truly felt that they were "my band" and that nobody could appreciate or understand their sound as well as I. While I'm not the biggest fan of their present material, I will always look to Type O as a classic among my collection of musik, and as somewhat of a soundtrack to a certain period of my life.

So now you see why I don't bother to update this site often. Some of the content gets re-worked now and then, but there are remains here and there of original text from when i first built this site... hence the fact that some of the things said may sound slightly less mature or just plain stupid. Not that I have grown any more mature or less stupid ;) Perhaps someday I will get around to editing everything... and maybe not. However, I did recently update the Carnivore section/site so check that out.
