This page is dedicated to my favorite member of Type O Negative, Josh Silver. Why is he my favorite member of Type O Negative? I don't really know; he seems pretty layed back and quiet, but twisted all the same... That's basically the only reason I can think of off-hand, so don't get any funny ideas, punk. A big reason for this page's existence is that when someone mentions Type O Negative, right away people picture Peter Steele. Peter is a big part of Type O, but there are other band members. Another strong force behind Type O is Josh Silver, Pete's long-time friend and accomplice. For those of you who prefer the goth-like side of Type O, Josh basically puts it there... without those keyboards, they'd probably be considered just rock.
Josh Silver is the man responsible for the keys in Type O Negative. He's also in on much more, for instance he and Peter co-produce the Type O releases. The team is, of course, called Silver/Steele Productions. All I can tell you at the moment is very little. Josh was born on November 14th. He has played in three bands that I know of: Fallout, Original Sin, and Type O Negative. Also, he and Pete were in a few bands together in much earlier years. He produced the first and best Life of Agony album, "River Runs Red" and he's also produced for a few other bands, I believe. The notorius pork-eating Jew, Josh, seems to be a rather quiet, introverted type of guy. He eats one meal a day, and that would be marijuana ...so I hear, anyway. All you see of him at shows is this big furball thrashing around behind the keyboards as they droan out eerie, magnificent sounds. Unfortunately, since his job is usually to double Peter or Kenny, you hardly hear him! especially live...it sucks. You might think it's a shame that Pete and Kenny seem to hog the spotlight while Josh lurks undetected in the shadows, so to speak, but perhaps that's what is so kool about him.
