Lee's Spaghetti Sauce 4 TBL vegetable oil 1 Can (16 oz) tomato paste 1/2 Cup chopped onion 2 tsp basil 2 Cans(28 oz) tomato sauce 4 tsp sugar 2 Cans(28 oz) tomato puree Heat vegetable oil and add 1/2 cup chopped onion. Cook until transparent. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large sauce pan. Add the onions and simmer 2-3 hours. Season to taste.
