Where do I begin I guess from when I found out I was pregnant. It was January 2002 and was late and had a funny feeling I was Pregnant. I went to the gp's a week after I was due and the test said no so the doc told me that if I still didnt have my period to go back in a week. So guess what I went back the first test showed up both positive and negitive so the doc did it again and the same result so he ordered a blood test. The next day I went and got the test and the following day I rang for the result!!!!!!! I was at work and I nearly died when he told me that the test as positive I felt a hot flush go through me as I didnt really exspect a YES answer. You see last year i had a blood clot in my lung and nearly died so I wasnt to take the pill again and if i was to fall pregnant my chances of getting another clot after bubby was born was much higher. I was 37yo when i found out I was going to be a mummy again and I have a 20yo daughter and a 9yo son so i had to start all over again buying everything from nappies to a cot it was a shock to both my husband Ian and myself and for the first 2 months I cried and we fought alot about the whole new baby thing. We both finally got to the point of liking the idea and I started buying all the baby things I could afford. I went for my 19 week scan and was tol bubby was fine and it was a boy i cried with joy as I was wanting a liitle brother for my son Ryan.
