SABA is a wonderful combination of some outstanding bloodlines
mainly from Scandinavia and South Africa creating our 6th Generation.

Saba is a big pup with good strong bone, superb feet,
pleasing head with dark eye and excellent movement.
A happy little soul with a laid back nature
similar to his Dad, Dougal.

We were thrilled when he won his class at his first show
from a line up of lovely babies & took out Best Baby of Breed.
Saba had attended 18 shows in Baby Puppy,
he has been awarded 1st place 17 times
and 16 of those were Best Baby Puppy of Breed.
He has also been awarded 3 Baby in Groups, a Best Baby Puppy in Show (All Breeds)
amongst very strong Competition.

At the October 08 Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Champ Show (NSW)
under breed Specialist Mr J. Hyman (USA),
Saba won Best Baby Dog and Best Opposite Baby in Show.
Best Baby in show went to his Cousin Ziva (Lionslea Beautiful Dawn).
On an interesting note both Dams of the winners from the baby class are litter sisters,
from our beautiful liver girl Saran (Ch HuntingRidge Summer Rain).

My first place puppy, had a lovely outline, good balance, lots of bone,
a very pretty front and strong topline.
The puppy had a wonderful head
with plenty of underjaw and a nice tail.
He seemed a little more mature than my second place puppy,
particulalry in movement.

Saba has not been shown often but was titled at 14 months of age.
He has been shortlisted for Best in Group on numerous occassions
and taken a R/up Best in Group, multiple age in groups and in show awards.
He is an impressive tall young dog with an exquisite head and expression
excellent movement and to top it off a superb temperament with loads of character.

Saba's gorgeous liver brother "NYACK" HUNTINGRIDGE WILD AT HEART
will be out and about on the show scene in Victoria and then in 2009 he is heading to QLD.

Not long out of the baby class Saba has already collected multiple Reserve Challenges &
took out Runner Up Best of Breed at the RRC Pointscore show
in January 2009 with hot competition over several titled dogs.

Saba still has to mature but at 13 months old he has collected several Challenges with limited showing.

Saba is fortunate to have inherited the best traits of both his parents!
