Cherry Cheese Pie

Ingredients

   Crust
   1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
   1/4 cup sugar
   1/4 cup butter, softened
   Filling
   8 ounces cream cheese
   1/2 cup sugar
   2 cups Cool Whip
   1 can Cherry Pie Filling (as topping)

Directions

  1. Combine graham crack crumbs, sugar and butter in large bowl.
  2. Blend with fork and pour into 9" pie plate.
  3. Set 8" pie plate on top and press firmly, then remove.
  4. Bake crust at 375o for 8 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  5. In separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
  6. Blend in Cool Whip.
  7. Pour filling into crust and top with cherries.
  8. Chill at least 3 hours.
