Ham & Swiss Quiche

Ingredients

   1 unbaked 9 inch (4 cup volume) deep dish pie shell
   12 ounces Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk
   3 large eggs
   1/4 cup all-purpose flour
   8 ounces Swiss cheese
   1/2 cup cooked ham
   1/4 cup green onions
   1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
   1/4 teaspoon salt
   1/8 teaspoon black pepper, ground

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350o.
  2. Whisk together evaporated milk, eggs and flour in large bowl.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese, ham, sliced green onions, thyme, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture into pie shell and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  6. Cool on wire rack for 5 to 7 minutes before serving.

Preparation Time 20 minutes
Cooking Time 45 to 50 minutes
Serves approximately 8
