Grimhelm of Snowbourn (Man) - 95 PointsGrimhelm is the lord of Snowbourn and commands the Éored of that province. He is descended from the Men of Eothéod who first came to the aid of the Steward of Gondor, and as heirlooms he bears the sword Angúre and the Horn of Eothéod. In the Fellowship he represents the men of the Westfold, and is recognised by the provincial battle-cry “Forth Helmingas!”

Grimhelm carries Angúre, a claymore which he wields as an Elven Blade, and wears sturdy armour. He also bears the Horn of Eothéod. At the additional points shown he can be given the following items of wargear: Horse at 10 Points, and a Throwing Weapon at 5 Points |

Expert Rider. Horn of Eothéod: This Horn is an ancient and proud heirloom brought out of the North by the first Rohirrim to settle in the Westfold. The blowing of the Horn works in exactly the same way as the Horn of Gondor (See Boromir’s Profile). Master of Languages: Grimhelm is a distinguished scholar as well as a warrior and tactician. His knowledge of ancient tongues has benefited him on the battle-field, allowing him to rally all manner of troops quickly and effectively. As a result, whenever he is affected by a friendly Heroic Action, he may declare one with a range of 3" without spending Might. |
