Golden Ring
"What has this to do with Lord of the Rings?" Well, before you ask, it is of course another James Bond parody. The "Goldeneye", Russia's secret weapon, has been replaced with the "Golden Ring" - Mordor's secret weapon. The justification is that Sean Bean played the part of 006, who betrayed 007 (note there would logically be only nine 00 agents). Sean Bean also plays Boromir, who betrays Frodo. Therefore, because there are only nine members of the Fellowship, Frodo must be 007, and Boromir must be 006! The scene was a parody of the scene in Goldeneye (when Sean Bean was in the train that crashed into Pierce Brosnan's tank), and was originally intended for "The Man with the Golen Ring" (Boromir was still alive at that stage).
