Over the Easter Hols 2003, me and 18 others jumped aboard on the Greater Manchester Challenge (GMC). We left Holyhead and Sailed across to the Isle of Man... firstly we went to Port Erin, then came back round the Island into Douglas... we then sailed back to Wales, getting into difficulties 9 miles north west of Holyhead... leaving us no alternative other than to call the RNLI! The GMC was a 70ft long training vessel, with room for 18 people! It has two masts and seven sails! It also has a 75hp engine... which doesn't work (hence us getting into difficulties).

Despite me being about 1 metre away from the Sea Cats booking office in Douglas wanting to go home - the voyage was great! I made loadsa new friends and had a great time... to see the photo gallery... click here
