Monthly Check-list 4

Laundry room and Basement
Wipe off laundry containers.
Wash floors.
Clean windows.
Wipe inside of dryer drum.
Vacuum opening below lint trap.
Wipe off dryer and washer hoses.
Remove washer softener dispenser-soak in water and vinegar.
Clean washer agitator.
Check water softener level.
Wash throw rugs as needed.
Clean cobwebs.
Dust doors and window frames.
Clean ceiling suspended objects: pot hangers, lamps etc.
Remove and clean wall hangings.
Straighten shelves.
Straighten drawers.
Clean phone.
Clean light diffusing bowl.
Clean light switches.
Clean windows.
Wash throw rugs as needed.
Wash curtains as needed.

Porch and Sun rooms
Clean light diffusing bowl.
Clean windows.
Scrub or vacuum floors.
Dust walls and woodwork.
Clean fingerprints from walls.
Clean cobwebs.
Dust doors and window frames.
Clean ceiling suspended objects: pot hangers, lamps etc.
Wash knick-knacks.
Remove and clean wall hangings.
Polish furniture.
Move furniture and clean under. Dust cobwebs from legs.
Wash throw rugs as needed.

Garage
Sweep floors and walls.
Hose down floor.
Treat stains on the floor.
Wash windows.
Clean, oil, sharpen tools.
Dust shelves.
Wash garbage cans.

Car
(check owner's manual and with mechanic for recommended maintenance for your vehicle. Do maintenance essential for warranty.)
Wax car.
Treat exterior rust.
Treat rubber around windows, doorsill, surrounding trunk and fuel door.
Clean trunk and vacuum.
Clean tape player heads.
Check battery electrolyte level (refer to owner's manual)
Clean an blacken tires.
Check tires for abnormal wear.
Check brake fluid (refer to owner's manual)
Check drive belt tension on power steering (refer to owner's manual)
Tighten battery hold-down (refer to owner's manual)
Check radiator hose and cap.
