Monthly Check-list 5  GroomingBleach skin spots. BSE Cut hair. MaintenanceExercise ground fault interrupter and circuit breakers. Drain one to two gallons of water from water heater. Check air conditioner and furnace filters. Sweep/wash driveway. Clean stains on the driveway. Test smoke alarms. Inspect for damage/leaks - Visible foundation areas - Pipes - Vents - Ducts - Gutters and down spouts Kitchen and bath: Inspect/clean faucet aerators and shower heads. Clean drains. Clean bath tub stopper. Paperwork and PlanningBalance bank statement and file. Record receipts in financial ledger. File important receipts e.g. car maintenance if car still under warranty. Tax receipts e.g. medical, professional expenses, child care, etc. Home maintenance and improvement-important when refinancing, selling and/or as proof for insurance company. File out master budget plan for the month. Pick items from the master to-do list and mark a check beside with pencil. Break down item into a max of one hour activities.
