One CRU Ops Site on Warringah Road, Brookvale, NSW.
Houses across the road and Council Depot or similar at other side. Originally there was Bush on the left side as you look at Photo. The buildings on the left were not part of the Unit. The search Radar Antenna is on the right hand side next to the public footpath, and of course the obligatory Volley Ball Court is well placed

Not a bad view on a clear day. Manly was not all that far away. A favourite watering hole, the Harboard Diggers Club wasn't all that far either. Sports afternoon was often held at that club, using their indoor heated swimming pool
Main entrance to the Domestic Site about 1 or 2 klms up the road from the Ops Site. It was situated between the Frenchs Forest Hotel and the Frenchs Forest Drive In
