CHARACTERS

Ron Burgundy - The most popular newsanchor in the '70's. Conceited and arrogant fucker.
Baxter - Ron's dog. Gets kicked off a bridge, but does not die.
Veronica Corningstone - Beautiful new newsanchor woman at the new's station. Soon gains more popularity than Ron.
Brian Fantana - Womanizer and current events reporter.
Champ Kind - Big, stupid, ugly. 3 words that sum up his character pretty well. Sports reporter.
Brick Tamland - Weather man with an IQ of 48.
PLOT

Ron Burgundy is at the top of his game. He is a successful newsanchor on the number 1 news station in America.

After meeting Veronica Corningstone at a party, Ron is delighted to find that she now works in his office.

Veronia, being very frustrated that she's being given meanial reports to do and after rejecting Brian, Champ and Brick; is reluctant to go out with Ron. Ron finally convinces her and they fall in love.

After Baxter gets kicked off of a bridge, Ron fails to make it to the newsroom in time to deliver the news. Veronica offers to step in, and despite Brian and Champ's attempts to make her stumble, she delivers a flawless performance. In fact, she's so good that the boss promotes her to be Ron's co-anchor. Ron is not happy about this and he and Veronica break up.

The situation gets more tense when Ron and Veronica start fighting. After an intense pyschial confrontation, Veronica decides to get revenge on Ron. Knowing that Ron will read anything on the teleprompter, she changes his closing line to:"Go fuck yourselves" which Ron reads without even realizing it. He gets fired, which results in him being scraggly and depressed.

Wanting to return to his old job, Ron fixes himself up. At an important news event when a panda starts giving birth, a rival newsanchor pushes Veronica into the bear pit. It's up to Ron to save her. After putting himself in the same dangerous situation, it's up to Baxter to save him.

Everything ends happily.
