PLOT
The story begins with Willie and Marcus completing another scam, in which they get hired as the store Santa and elf. After weeks of observation, they know the security systems of the mall. They are then able to rob the store of all its money after closing time on Christmas.
Willie goes to Miami for a year with his earnings. After the year is complete, Marcus calls up Willie and they plan to scam another mall.
After meeting with Bob Chipeska, Bob decides immeadiatley that something is wrong.
Willie goes on to meet Sue at a bar. Discovering that she has a Santa fetish, the engage in sex many times. She doesn't show up again until the middle of the movie. The first time I saw I wondered why she was inserted into the movie. She may be a secondary character, but she's hot, so it's ok.
Meanwhile, back at the mall, the situation with Willie is getting worse. Willie constantly shows up drunk on the job, is mean to the children and engages in anal sex with women from the Big & Tall section in the fitting rooms. All of these things make Bob very nervous. After going to Gin with his newfound information. Curious that a scam might be taking place, Gin convinces Bob not to fire them. Instead he keeps an eye on them, trying to figure out their scam so he can get in. This is the last we see of Bob, because his character was played by John Ritter, who passed away during filming.
The Kid comes and is drawn to Willie. Being constantly teased, he's in need of a friend. After Willie drives him home one night, he is shocked to find that The Kid lives in a mansion. He goes in to rob the place. After discovering that The Kid's parents are gone and that he's only living with his senile grandmother, Willie decides to squat at the place.
At this time, Gin figures out what the scam is and demands that he be part of it too. Marcus reluctantly agrees to this. But at the night of the robbery, Marcus and Lois kill Gin by crushing him between their car and his.
At the store, the scam goes off without a hitch until Lois and Marcus turn of Willie. They say that he's a liability and he's getting sloppy. They decide to shoot him. Willie manages to trip the alarm, which causes the police to chase after him. Marcus is shot dead.
Willie and the cops are engaged in a pursuit as Willie rushes to get back to The Kid's house. Upon arriving, he makes a dash for the door and ends up getting shot 8 times. He collapses right before the door. At this point, I thought that he was dead and the movie was over, but apparently, I was wrong.
The movie ends with Willie writing a letter to The Kid telling him he'll be out of the hospital soon and until then, Sue takes care of him.
