2. PRELUDE, DANSE et ORIENTALE.

   
   The prelude is a short piece, tragical in character. The dance begins with a mysterious slow movement and changes to a lilting ternary rhythm. The orientale is also in two parts: an adagio in Arabo-Andalusian style, and a presto. Technically difficult. 10 mn duration
