If you want to see all the mistakes in T- Bag see A Nitpicker's Guide To T-Bag
The first series, Wonders In Letterland was renamed Troubles With T-Bag in parts of Australia due to copyright issues with a franchise called Letterland.
T-Bag Strikes Again won an award and was the only series of T-Bag to do so.
ABC Abbreviation Specialisation |
The abbreviation 'ABC' was used many times in the T-Bag series (4 times in 3 series). How many can you name? Highlight the block below to see the answers.
T-Bag Strikes Again
Ep3 Ben And Bunty Badshot: Acme Bat Company
T-Bag Bounces Back
Ep2 Nights In Arabia: Acme Bird Company
Ep9 Nikdit The Thief: Acme Bun Company

Ep3 Lost In Space: Android Breakdown Company
Many of the costumes were used again in latter series but mostly were altered.
The Long John Sylvia (T-Bag Strikes Again) multi-coloured dress was used many times. How many can you think of? All the times are below (highlight the gap to see the text).
T-Bag Strikes Again Ep7 Long John Sylvia
T-Bag Bounces Back Ep4 Black Hearted Belle (worn by Mrs Merry on the pirate ship)
T-Bag And The Revenge Of The T-Set Ep9 The Bard (Hanging up next to T-Bag’s Ophelia costume when she steals Sally’s Bag.)
T-Bag And The Rings Of Olympus Ep4 Rum Barbara
In T-Bag And The Revenge Of The T-Set episode 3 ‘Lost In Space’ T-Bag finds a tin of ‘Skipper McKipper’s Saucy Sardines’. Skipper McKipper is the fisherman in episode 3 of Wonders In Letterland!
T. Bag And The Pearls Of Wisdom VHS Value |
The commercially released (in the UK) T-Bag And The Pearls Of Wisdom VHS video had a price of £55 on Amazon! This video did have a RRP of £12.99 (estimated as I can’t be certain). Over a 420% increase in value in about a decade!
Exit With A Puff Script Hidden Humour |
In T-Bag And The Rings Of Olympus, when T-Bag is learning her lines in Ep6 ‘Exit With a Puff’ of T-Bag And The Rings Of Olympus, if you look closely enough you can see what it says on the script cover-
“EXIT WITH A PUFF” by Ernie Pressburger and J.B. Cathrovitch.
I only noticed this in recent years (June 2003) when I watched this episode and it shows T-Bag was full of subtle humour!
Many of the props were used again in latter series and latter episodes. For example
the toys in the chest at the beginning of T-Bag Strikes Again are from Wonders In Letterland &
T-Shirt’s Hammer in Rings Of Olympus is used twice in the same series. In ep4 Rum Barbara and Ep7 Rats.
The Tenth Series That Never Was! |
A tenth series of T-Bag was planned for Elizabeth Estensen to reprise her role as Tallulah Bag, the original T-Bag. The storyline was going to be this: Thomas is now running a café called Tommy’s. Tommy’s is doing so well Thomas is recruiting for more staff. A bedraggled old lady walks in; this old straggly lady is T-Bag looking for her magic power. She manages to wriggle her way in and in her quest to go through time to reclaim her powers she forces Thomas to make her a time machine and launches Tommy’s into space and there starts a ten episode series. It’s a shame this series was never made as I think it would make a great story, a great change of direction for the T-Bag series, a great welcome back to Elizabeth Estensen.
