 
Graham and Krista Shindle would like to introduce you all to their first child, Kylyn Amira Shindle. She was born on Wednesday May 19th at around 8 am at St Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. She weighed 5 pounds 4 ounces when she was born and had dark curly hair. During her hospital stay she dropped to 4 pounds 13 ounces but has started to feed well and will put the pounds back on soon. In the hospital Kylyn was showered with visitors and gifts. Knowing Krista's love of pink once the little girl arrived it was a pink explosion. She will be lucky if she has anything other than pink to wear. There are almost too many visitors to mention but it was appreciated. Thanks to Jana and Ryan for housing Krista and Graham during Kylyn's delayed arrival. And thanks to everyone who came by to wish the Shindle's well. What is with the name you ask. Well Jocelyn Shindle and Kyle Pettinger both thought their niece should be named after them so with some creativity KYLYN was formed. Amira on the other hand was planned well in advance and means princess. Everyone is back in Altona now and settling in nicely. Kylyn sleeps in her crib and gets lots of visitors.
