Illinois State Route 123

Illinois State Route 123 is a short, mainly east-west route across Menard County. This provides easy access to the Lincoln-New Salem Sites near Petersburg. In October of 2003, this highway was extened to the east. It now multi-plexes with IL St Rt 29 south to the former alignment of IL St Rt 124, which was pulled back to nine miles north of Sherman.
