Interstate 265 is a seven mile by-pass on the northwest side of the Kentucky-ana Metro Area. Plans call for a connection with the Interstate 265 in Kentucky. As of August, 2004 it runs from Interstate 65 to Interstate 64. East of Interstate 65, the expressway continues as Indiana State Route 265 to Indiana State Route 62, north of Jeffersonville.
