Her Daughter's Eyes -Jessica Barksdale Inclan
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In an upper middle-class neighborhood, on a street like Wildwood Drive, things like this are not supposed to happen.... Sixteen-year-old Kate is going to have a baby. She's done all to prepare for the new child's birth but one thing: She hasn't told anyone.
Except for her younger sister. Together, all they have is a crib made out of cardboard, sheets from the Goodwill...and hope. Hope that somehow, with the newborn baby in arms, everyone will forgive.

*MY REVIEW*
This is story about a neglectful father who decides to abandon his
childen for another woman after his wife and the mother of these
2 girls dies from cancer. The girlfriend was 50 percent of the
problem too.
She brained washed the father (Davis) into living with her and her 2
sons, so therefor Davis only visited his girls every few days because
he was brained washed by this woman. She really irriated me. I wanted
to jump in the novel and slap her silly. And of course because no one
was there two love these two girls and watch over them, this is why
Kate
became pregnant.
I liked the mystery in this novel of not knowning who the father of
the baby was until the middle of the book. The author didnt really
describe the characters so it was kind of hard to picture what they
looked like. She did do an amazing job
when describing the birth and I mean she described everything!
Another
thing that left me wondering is where Kate and Tyler got the money
to buy all the baby items. They mentioned that Kate babysat but
I dont think she would have enough money for all the things they
described.
Truly touching and emotional novel. This one is a keeper.
