It starts at a juntion with U.S. Rt. 150, near Carlock and heads east to the Mc Lean/Woodford County Line, and Mc Lean County Highway 12. If you head east on McLCH 12 another 1/4 mile you find Mc Lean County Highway 49 posted at WCH 9. The county line markers are another .3 miles north of the intersection. This highway then heads to Illinois State Route 251, near Kappa. WCH 9 does nt pass through any towns in Woodford County. WCH 9 crosses the following highways in Woodford County.
