Chad & Rita Scharff are proud to announce the birth of their baby baby girl....Danika Rian Scharff. She was born on her due date...Thursday June 26th at 8:09 pm. She weighed 9 lbs and 1/2 ounce. She has light brown hair and is already very alert. She is feeding well and both mom and dad are overjoyed! The Scharffs have had a busy day at Boundary Trails Hospital with visits from Krista Curry, Tracey & Jodi Hildebrand, Rob Smith, Chad's mom, Rita's brother, Jackie Wahl and us of course (Ange, Pilks, Krista, & Shack). Rita and baby Danika will likely be in the hospital over the weekend recovering from the C-section. Check out the photos below!

While Rita recovers Friday Night, Chad has time to bring cigars by to smoke with the boys! We provided the Jack Daniels. Congratulations Chad and Rita on your new family! Danika is now one week old. We visited her at home in Halbstadt on Wednesday July 2nd. Here are some more photos. She is nursing well (and a lot according to Rita). Chad and Rita are waking up about every 3 hours to feed her. She doesn't cry much and she likes to be held. Her eyes are blue for now and she is very cute, happy and cuddly.
