JESUS CHRIST IS LORD

~~~When I Come Home To Heaven~~~
When I come home to Heaven
How joyful it will be!
For on that day at last
My risen Lord I'll see.
No greater happiness than
To see Him face to face,
To see the love in His eyes
And feel His warm embrace.
I've done nothing to deserve
That perfect home above.
It was given freely through
The grace of Jesus' love.
Then why should earthly cares
Weigh down upon me so?
They'll be a distant memory
When home at last I go.
I hope these verses help you on your road of following Jesus. I know they helped me. My walk with Jesus started this past March, and it hasn't always been easy. As Jesus said, I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it. Sometimes the road gets rocky, but just talk to Jesus and he will set you on the right path. I LOVE the Lord with all my heart and I will always follow him.
To become a follower of Jesus, you must turn away from the way you have been going. You must admit, "...you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world..." (Ephesians 2:1-2).
This turning from your old way also means turning toward God to follow and serve Jesus, who said: "The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me." (John 12:25-26)
Here is what you must do to become a follower of Jesus:
ADMIT to God that you are captive to sin and have not followed his path for right living.
BELIEVE that the Creator of the world loves you and sent his Son Jesus to take the penalty for your sin.
CONFESS, "'Jesus is Lord.' Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
You can tell Jesus that you will now follow him:
Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and rose again so I can have a new life. I want to turn from my sin. I want to serve and follow you. I give myself to you. Help me now to love you with all my heart and soul and mind. Amen.
The Creator wants you to have the fullest life possible. Here are some important steps for you to take on this new path as a follower of Jesus:
READ GOD'S WORD EVERY DAY
The Bible is the food which provides spiritual nourishment for our daily walk with Jesus. There is enough here for a lifetime of learning and growing.
PRAY AND TALK TO GOD REGULARLY
Prayer is your lifeline to God. Remember you are not alone with the burdens and problems you may have. Pour your heart out to God. He delights in listening to you. The Creator can do far more that we could ever ask or imagine.
SHARE AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS
You are a messenger for Jesus wherever you go. Jesus came to bring life to people everywhere. You can help them learn how to find hope in Jesus.
MEET WITH OTHER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS FOR PRAYER, BIBLE STUDY AND WORSHIP.
Find a gathering of Jesus followers near you and join with them. God did not intend for us to be alone in our walk with him.
FOR IT IS BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED, THROUGH FAITH--AND THIS NOT FROM YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. Ephesians2:8
HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETION UNTIL THE DAY OF CHRIST JESUS. Philippians1:6
~~~~~JESUS SAVES~~~~~JESUS SAVES~~~~~

~~~~~SO WHEN IS JESUS COMING BACK~~~~~
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field, one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Matthew 24:36-44
