Lavender skies and blue clouds above
You look at my face with eyes full of love
A field of wildflowers grow in profusion
A garden of love, what a gorgeous illusion
Luxurious colors sway in the breeze
The sun shining brightly, I fall to my knees
You kneel close beside me and hold out your hands
I reach out to grasp them so strong and so tan
Your lips whisper softly my name in the wind
And reach to engulf me, I'm drowning within
The violets lay crushed in the grass where we lay
The fragrance drifting over us on a quiet spring day
I feel the warm glow of the sunhine above
I taste your sweet lips that give such precious love
I lift my eyes slowly and stare at your face
I feel all your love all alone in this place.
