It's come to our attention that our good friend Damocles will be shipping out from his home base at Ft. Bragg for a year long tour of duty in South Korea. We realize the commitment and dedication he shows in serving his country proudly and we salute him and his wife and children for the courage they show. We will of course miss Damocles and hope to keep in touch should he be able to get internet access.

The site officially opens. After much contemplation the choice of expanding the SF to incorporate both Operation Flashpoint and Ghost Recon is made. Each game has it's strengths and weaknesses and provide the SF with the chance to grow and expand it's tactical skills.

Currently I have a Compaq Proliant ML330e (PIII 800 mhz) server that I will be upgrading for the purpose of providing the SF with a dedicated server on which to train and have fun. This should be completed and the server available by this date next month.

The Addition of a Special Branch of the SF squad is begun, The Delta Force . This group will consist of the very best of the SF members. Those who activities, commitment and professionalism make them stand out from all others. They will get their own team tag, and be provided with a private forum for the use of discussions.

I'd like to welcome Dagoba to the Special Forces! Our first official member! Seems like only yesterday I was alone, wait a sec it was only yesterday! Anyway Dagoba is a damn decent fellow and a good addition. I look forward to playing with him often. He also happens to be an excellent host, so I strongly recommend if you catch him hosting on UBI, enter his game.

The Roster page has been opened now that there is reason too. And I've made a few changes on the MOS, RULES and APPLICATIONS page. It appears will be far more involved in Ghost Recon then OFP so most changes reflect that. Also I tried to tone down the rules area so as not to scare potential good people away. We want to be good and professional, but still have a damn good time.
