LADY TEE's 2nd album on Epic. This album gave Teena her big smash "LOVERGIRL", which was a massive hit both sides of the continent - a hard funk tune which still sounds great today. The other highlights on this album are "WE GOTTA STOP MEETING LIKE THIS" featuring the voice of Ronnie McNeil, a wonderful duet. "MY DEAR MR GAYE" is another of my all time favorites with Teena using Marvin's musicians to create that Marvin Gaye sound and, my God he must have been grooving in heaven listening to this one! In my mind its the best Marvin tribute song ever done. "OUT ON A LIMB is another beautiful ballad and "ALIBI" a uptempo groove and feel good sound with a powerful vocal performance. {1984 epic}
