EMERALD CITY

Teena comes out with something very different on her third Epic release.Yes , she made the rock album charts with this one , to prove she can rock with the best of them .This is a tuff album , funk and rock and synth, all rolled into one , with that ever present "TEE SOUND ".Highlights on this for me are "Once is not enough" tough groove , hard hitting rock guitar solo's , funky rifs , bad ass tune ."Lips that find you" same feel as "once is not enough "hard hitting , catchy , funky, makes you wanna get down and move . "your so heavy" this is Teena in pure rock mode , hard hitting rock vocals ,guitars , and hard synth rock groove ,you have never heard teena like this before. "Love me down easy " another beautiful ballard , but with a slightly different feel to it , but it keeps in tune ,with the sound of this album and we end with "Sunny skies"well to all the rock fans out there that bought this album , who had never heard of teena before , must have been wondering what the hell is this , at the end of the album , because "sunny skies "is another one of Teena's jazz gems , great production , and vocals , and a beautiful song .LadyTEE , said , she loves this album , you can see why , after listening to it , great stuff.Even got into the best 500 rock albums of all time book , by Chuck Eddie. {1986 Epic }
