NAKED TO THE WORLD
LADY TEE's 4th epic album. This album gave Teena her first No.1 with "OOO LA LA LA". The classic tune which the Fugees went on to use in the late 90's. We also get Rick and Teena together on "CALL ME" and "THE ONCE AND FUTURE DREAM". "CALL ME" is a mid-tempo track with a rap thrown in from the two of them and the 2nd track is a beautiful ballad with great vocal performances from them both - top notch production and arrangement. "NAKED TO THE WORLD", the title track, is a great song and yet another to add to her 'great ballads' list of tracks. "WORK IT" went top 10 in the UK chart - another hard hitting funk track. {1988 Epic}

Rick James never liked 'Ooo La La La', and told her that of all the great songs she has written over the years it took something as simple as 'Ooo La La La' in the title to give her a number 1 hit. Ain't life strange sometimes hey!!
