Latest Pictures of the Dorm

Tracey graduated and got a job...a reason to celebrate! Dinner thanks to Aces Gift Certificates and Chad and Rita even made the big trip in from Halbstadt.

On our way to Winkler we stopped at the Credit Union for cash. There was a notice saying that they had slipped some $50's in with the $20's. We tried to withdraw them but no luck. Instead Krista decided to pose on Rita's deadly car!(this is Rita close up!)

The dorm minus a few members plus a few extras checked out Swordfish. Overall rating **** out of 5.

If you were wondering what the dorm's favourite snack food is...wonder no more. Angela's grandma sends amazing buttertarts from Thunder Bay on special occasions and we all enjoy them. I only wish we had a picture of Bal (Friend from England) trying them. He had never had a buttertart before. He called them superb and deliteful. They are now his favourite food! Grams, if you check this, keep sending the tarts! (Yes, Angela's grams is internet savy!)

Since Angela is from Thunder Bay floods are kind of a new thing. Her parents keep asking about the water. So here is a shot Olmstead's of some water just west of Winnipeg!

We have quite a few pictures for you from this night. The dorm all dressed up and headed off to the Pioneer Center. (some of us were there setting up earlier than others who were too busy getting there photos taken...but I digress) Anyway here is the one and only couple on the dance floor!

Then there were some boys. These two should really be on our friends of the dorm page but we decided to put HAMMY and LENNY right here! Meet the crazy and inseperable maroons that drove out from Winnipeg for each game.

Another friend of the dorm. Sadly he announced his retirement from the Maroons after this season. He will be missed! Hopefully we will see him on the lake when he invites us fishing (HINT HINT)

I took some time over spring break to catch up with some friends in Calgary. It was a great week. Here I am hanging out with Travis and Todd.

Some of you may ask...ARE THEY EVER APART? Well we basically aren't. If we had a web cam, we'd probably broadcast live! Smitty does escape at times. But who could stand him 24 hours a day?

We started Saturday wandering aimlessly around Altona. Luckily we ran into Kenny Wiebe at HAIRWAY STUDIO (in case you need a haircut call and ask for Krista!) Anyways, he invited us over for a pre game tub! Here we are just relaxing. It was a bubbling 101 degrees. Don't worry for all you Pilks fans. He was also in the tub, lookin mighty fine. He is the camera man though in this one.

Saturday night was the ACES game. It was a full house in the good old Sunflower Gardens. Shack manned the mic as usual and Pilks controlled the box!
