Once known for fighting for truth, justice and the WWE way, Gregory Helms is no longer the emerald crusader on RAW. Formerly known as The Hurricane, Helms recently removed his famous mask and cape, turning his back on his fans and his super-sized crime fighting partner Rosey. Now, Gregory Helms seems to care only about his own prosperity.

After he & Rosey lost the World Tag Team Championship at Unforgiven, Helms took a turn to the dark side. Formerly a comic book super hero come to life known for putting his trusty cape on to fly high from the top rope onto villains, Helms is now a man out only for himself.

Of course, Helms wasn’t always filled with angst. The Hurricane was once a mild mannered reporter who doubled as a sports entertainment superhero known for his good deeds, and he devoted several years to solving mysteries and fighting for justice on RAW every Monday night.

Along the way, Helms as the Hurricane even acquired a protégé in the jovial Rosey, who became his “Super Hero in Training” before ultimately graduating to official crime fighter status. As a dynamic duo, Hurricane & Rosey battled the best of the best in RAW tag team competition, from La Resistance to the Heart Throbs to Cade & Murdoch. Along the way, the duo won the World Tag Team Championship, which they held for nearly five months until their loss to Cade & Murdoch, a loss that was the beginning of the end for The Hurricane.
