This is my shrine to the one and only Eric Carr. After the HOT IN THE SHADE tour, Eric was diagnosed with a cancerous growth in his heart. Sadly, in 1991, Eric passed away.
Eric Carr was born under the name Paul Carravello on July 12, 1950. He joined the band in 1980 when Peter Criss left to pursue a solo career. Eric however, was not featured on the Unmasked album, and makes his first KISS album apperance with (Music of) The Elder. Since then, make-up or no make-up, Eric has provided KISS with the powerful drum beats and amazing drum solos in songs such as King of the Mountain (Asylum), I Love It Loud (Creatures of the Night), Who Wants to be Lonely (Asylum), and a whole list of other classic KISS tunes. Sadly, in 1991, on the day of November 29, Eric Carr passed away. Eric will forever be in the KISS army's hearts. God Bless You Eric.
