Since I did not come from a Christian family, it seemed like D & K and their music was my only source of "Christian Fellowship" outside of reading the Bible. Their music really ministered to me, and their additional study resources that sometimes accompanied albums, really helped foster my relationship with Christ. They have a special place in my heart, if that doesn't sound too corny. I feel like I know them personally very well. I own all of their albums, and I try to collect as many articles and memorabilia as I can. I attended 6 of their concerts, and I had the pleasure of meeting Dana Key back stage after one of them. I always looked forward to their new album coming out, and I was heartbroken when they decided to split up. I still have them playing in my CD player occasionally and my five year old son loves the song "Rock Solid." My personal favorite is "Every Moment" from Street Light. I will always be a D & K fan, and I'm still holding out hope for a reunion.
