Every year Y100 radio station in Philidelphia puts on a big concert called the FEZtival. This year, Lit happened to be performing there. I had an idea what the set list would be like, but I had no idea what the experience of seeing Lit live would be like.
Lit was the second band to perform that day. They started out with thier normal live intro. As soon as the intro started everyone in the crowd immedatly rose to thier feet. Than they went into "Four". A. Jay's mic wasn't turned on for the first couple lines of "Four", but the problem was fixed.
During the show, A. Jay asked why all the people had to stay out in the lawn and told them to all come up to the front. A lot of people started comming into the seated area (The venue is set up with seats in front and lawn in the back). The security gurads than started sending people back to the lawn because everyone was standing in the isles.
They played a Pretty good set with songs from thier A Place in the Sun. They only played one song from Tripping the Light Fantastic and that was "Bitter". The band also invited a fan to come up and sing "My Own Worst Enemy" with A. Jay. Overall it was a good show. I look forward to seeing them live again.
