Back in 1992, 14 year old Wally Miles was looking to start a new band after the collapse of his first band, Bad Influence. Luckily, he met a 13 year old guitar prodigy named Vince Ingle. The two realized they had the same musical influences and they formed MILES/INGLE. Later on that year, the dynamic duo recorded a single called "My Hawaiian Baby" with a b-side called "Leviticus" to rave reviews amongst the underground. Based on the success of this now cult classic, MILES/INGLE went back to the garage to record their first full length lp called "MILES/INGLE" in early 1993. The debut album spawned such hits as "Country Boy" and "Alvin the Worm". 1993 proved to be an extremely busy year for MILES/INGLE as they released more albums in one year than most bands do in a lifetime. 1993 saw the release of their sophmore album, "Mental Slavery", along with their 3rd album, "Faces of Death", and their 4th album "grAPEnuts". Miles/Ingle ended 1993 with the release of their first live album, "One Live Mexican Fiesta". Both members of Miles/Ingle even started a thrash band on the side called ENTRAILS that same year. 1993 proved to be a landmark year in the legacy of MilesIngle.

1994 saw Miles/Ingle release an instrumental album entitled "A Winter's Call" to get their loyal fanbase ready for their upcoming concept album, "A light in the addict", released in February. Later on that year, Miles/Ingle released yet another album, "Bakansilyasadonky". This album is extremely rare as vocalist Wally Miles claims to no longer has a copy. 1994 ended with the release of "Tumors", a greatest hits album spanning 1993-1994.

1995 began with the release of yet another concept album entitled "Songs by Miles/Ingle:The Private Pleasures of Chuckles the Clown". 1995 was truly an ambitious year as the band released 3 albums simultaneously. "Pisstory" volumes 1-3 were released in August of 1995. The lineup of Miles/Ingle expanded as Jeremy Messer was added to the band as the drummer. Lead vocalist Wally Miles handled the drumming prior to the arrival of Messer. That year, Miles/Ingle went from a 2 piece band to a 4 piece band by adding Marvin Headrick on bass. To signify these changes, Miles/Ingle became MILESINGLE and the group played many shows throughout the southeast from 1995-1996.

After the grueling "Wooch Tour 95-96", MILESINGLE went on a hiatus to recharge the batterys. It would be 2 years before MILESINGLE would record again.

During the hiatus, MILESINGLE managed to enter the new sensation called the internet by launching MILESINGLE ONLINE {the page you are currently viewing} in the summer of 1997. During that year, bassist Marvin Headrick dissappeared and never returned to the band. Drummer Jerermy Messer was fired. With the band collapsing, original members Wally Miles and Vince Ingle saw the writing on the wall and decided to quit MILESINGLE. With the original lineup out, it appeared as if MILESINGLE was finished.

In 1998, members of a MilesIngle tribute band, Spike Jabber {playing the role of Wally Miles} and Ape Freelee {playing the role of Vince Ingle} were called up from the smoky club scene and became the new members of MILESINGLE. The new lineup recorded the triumphant comeback album "Imsofakingwetoded" to rave reviews that year.
